Sales and Marketing Assistant

We are a market leading construction company and we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Sales and Marketing Assistant. The successful applicant will play an important part in supporting the smooth day to day running of a busy and growing sales and marketing department.

We would love to hear from candidates who enjoy being helpful and can also perform routine tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also have creative skills which our Brand Executive can utilise to improve marketing function across the business.

The person appointed will take complete responsibility for some important tasks which are essential to the day to day running of the company:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Posting brochures
  • Purchasing brochures and stationary
  • Liaising with potential and existing customers to arrange viewings
  • Converting website leads into site visits and improving KPIs in this area

The Sales and Marketing Assistant will also be ready to assist the Brand Executive with general marketing tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Creating graphics
  • Assisting with Social media and Email marketing
  • Photography and video editing

Essential

  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ideally we would like to see an example blog post you have written
  • Good eye for design, ideally we would like to see an example of a brochure, magazine, infographic or an advert you have designed.

We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with some of the following skills:

  • Business Studies qualification
  • Marketing qualification
  • Creative qualification
  • Demonstrated Interest in HTML/Photography
  • Previous experience in use of the Adobe creative suite
  • Previous experience in a call centre
  • Previous email marketing experience
