Sales Surveyor

Garden Lodges is one of the most highly experienced builders of structurally insulated panel technology. In response to our remarkable success in 2015, we have an exciting opportunity to join our fast moving business. As a Surveyor you will be required to attend appointments booked by the head office to sell and represent all of our brands; due to the nature of our products sales opportunities will be presented at the customer’s home.

Role Requirements

  • Self-starter with a proven track record in territory/field based sales
  • Experienced in B2C sales with the ability to quickly win the customers trust and build a rapport
  • Attending appointments booked by head office – some could be in the early morning or evening
  • Understanding the customers’ needs and translating them into a workable brief for the design team
  • Completion of all paper work and technical questions for the head office
  • Ability to close deals worth between £7K and £150K
  • Weekly reporting of figures to head office and attending weekly sales conference calls
  • Attending regular sales training sessions
  • Ability to cope with a fast moving environment which is changing daily
  • Working at shows for example Grand Designs Live
  • Flexible, well presented with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Identify and report on new sales opportunities by market, channel and customer category
  • Ensure that all communication with customers is accurately recorded on CRM Identify opportunities for sales within regional area

Education, Skills and/or experience requirements

  • Proven track record in sales
  • Professionally qualified, (preferably MRICS, MCIOB)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of SIP’s and construction would be beneficial
  • Strong Financial skills
  • Presentation experience
