All of our garden rooms, come with generous quantities of glazing as standard, we have outlined, in our included features section, the type and quantity of glazing you can expect as standard in one of our garden rooms.
Many of our customers choose to change the quantity and style of glazing included in our standard designs. This is a great way to personalise your building as your choice of glazing can have a significant impact on the finished style of your building.
We offer no obligation, site survey and quotation, and we are happy to make as many amendments as you like until you are happy with the size and position of your glazing.
Bi-fold doors are a popular upgrade for Garden Studios,
Our most popular glazing upgrade for garden studios is bi-fold doors. Often our customers choose to upgrade from French doors which are fitted as standard to bi-fold doors. Bi-fold doors allow you to open open a large part of one side of the building, so that the room feels part of the garden. Ideal if you are planning on using your room for leisure or entertaining.
Skylights are a popular upgrade for Garden Lodges and Traditional Garden Rooms
Our most popular glazing upgrade, for our pitched roof garden buildings, is Velux sky light windows. Skylights allow daylight to come through the ceiling to the building, offering extra natural light into the room.
We include a generous amount of glazing with our standard design, but maybe you have a particular view you want to frame as well as your main entrance. Maybe if you are planning several rooms in your garden building you might want a window in each. For example a top hung window in a shower room is a popular choice to let out condensation.
Maybe you want your room to be private, or you want to use it as a darkroom or cinema, we can remove glazing from your quotation. The good news is that glazing is more expensive than our structurally insulated panels, so this should reduce the price of your building.
Glazing in different positions
With all of our bespoke garden rooms, you can choose the size and the location of all the windows and doors. We recommend a standard quantities and styles of glazing during our site survey, based on our experience of building garden rooms, but you will choose your exact glazing requirement.
Our quotation is free, and so are unlimited amendments, so you if you are not happy with the initial location of glazing, we will try again until we have a design you are 100% happy with. Please click here to book no obligation, site survey and quotation.
