Tips to designing your perfect home Garden Art Studio with Garden Lodges…

  • Consider your work space carefully – where will you store your paints, brushes and other art supplies? Ask us to design built in storage to your Garden Art Studio, to keep it looking neat, tidy and organised.
  • What platform will you choose? Make sure there is plenty of room for your easel, work station or desk, and definitely don’t forget to consider your ceiling height.
  • Good lighting is key – adding a roof light into a flat roof Garden Studio or Velux windows into a pitched roof, natural light is integral to your Garden Art Studio.
  • Choose a clear wall to hang your paintings and other works of art, or to put up those inspiration boards.
  • Ventilation is very important, especially if you’re going to be painting. Most of our doors and windows have trickle vents, so this will let air circulate at a small rate around your Garden Art Studio.
  • Where will you clean your brushes? Running water will be important for cleaning your art materials and generally tidying up after being creative. We can install sinks, bathrooms and kitchens within your Garden Art Studio, for ease of washing up or just simply making a cup of tea.
