Designing your room

What to consider first

How will you use your new Garden Room? What size? Flat or pitched roof? There are many considerations when thinking about your Garden Room, but don’t be overwhelmed, we will be with you every step of the way.

Our customers use their Garden Rooms for many different activities; see our Garden Room Uses page for helpful tips and tricks on getting the most out of your new room.

Think about the practicalities…

If it’s a commercial work place such as a Home Beauty Salon, you’ll need to consider whether you’ll require a sink, toilet or a full fitted bathroom. If a Home Gym is more your thing, you’ll want to consider temperature control, such as air conditioning. Garden Lodges makes creating your ideal Garden Room a breeze.

Height is also an important factor when thinking about your new Garden Room. A little tip: Remember a Garden Studio, Lodge or Office above 2.49m will require planning permission. If this is the case, we offer a complete stress-free planning application service for an additional fee.

Site Survey and Design Service

At Garden Lodges we listen to your needs and requirements and try our very best to accommodate these within the design process of your proposed Garden Room. That is why we offer a site survey, so you can meet one of our Surveyors to discuss your project in detail and also find out all the information on our different products and finishes, before it goes to our design team.
